Are you ready to ride your horse into the New Year?

This time, I wanted to share the insights of the archetypal patterns emerging for the New Year, so we can focus and concentrate our energy to be effortlessly in tune with the larger cycles of nature and of course with each other.

The new moon kicks off the whole shebang on the 1st. In fact there are two super moons in January with the moon making its closest approach to the earth on its elliptical orbit. Also the Chinese New Year starts on the last day of the month. It is very rare to have all of these happenings taking place in such a short duration. It will be a really special and magical month so let’s celebrate and make the most out of it!

Firstly, lets overview the year of 2013, which was in Chinese Horoscope, the year of the Snake. Many of us experienced it as a growth – propelling, rich and at times a little intense and challenging. The archetype of the Snake is associated with changing of the skin. I like to see the year of 2013 as the year of knitting of the new gown through which I more truthfully express my soul purpose. When we shed our old skin off and are just about to knit the new attire, there is a moment when we stand naked. I have a strong sense that those of us who were courageous enough to stand in this vulnerable, beautiful, multi-dimensional openness and nakedness were able to integrate the lessons of this year. This supports us in shining our newly expressed selves in a more practical and grounded ways in 2014.

The Chinese New Year, taking place on 31st January, is called the Year of a Wood Horse. The archetype of the Horse is associated with dashing energy. Hence, if we are prepared to ride this energetic, bright and warm-hearted Wood Horse with the focus, clear goal and persistence, the upcoming year should support us in improving ourselves so that we can find a more truthful place in society and so create a healthier and stronger sense of community.

The New Year is going to start with a New Moon in Capricorn on the 1st of January. This beautifully facilitates us in the transition to the New Year of the Horse. Constructive traits of the Capricorn archetype are resourcefulness, tenaciousness, discipline, and constancy. Hence the 1st of January is a great time to consider how to incorporate these traits into your life and to focus, on practical and attainable goals. Ask yourself, how you can nurture your dreams in a realistic manner. Think what you want to manifest. Consider where you are now and what you need to do to. What steps do you need to take to journey from where you are now to, perhaps, where you are meant to be. It is the perfect time to create some serious order in our life! Don’t shy away from identifying the boundaries. Make some solid plans. What I learnt this year is that setting boundaries is like establishing a sturdy foundation for your imagination to take form. Paradoxicaly, it offers us freedom from worry and chaos! Phew…

So, leave the old story behind and create a new story on your blue horse. Be the heroine or hero of your own life! This alignment should give you a push you need – like the wind on your back when you are effortlessly running along the seaside.

Wishing you all to reclaim your talents
&
To strengthen your footing for entire year

Big Love
